About me

I connect where we are today with where we want to be tomorrow, using Futures Thinking and Strategic Foresight.

I do this by:

  • Applying my critical thinking skills, exponential mindset and imagination to boldly envision future possibilities and shape the future through action.
  • Thinking strategically about what might happen, what we want to happen and how to get there.
  • Collaborating with individuals and groups to boost awareness of their future possibilities, and to create strategic plans for proactively creating desired futures.
  • Sharing knowledge about the Futures Thinking and Strategic Foresight process (and other topics), so more people have access to more tools for informed decision-making and visualising and navigating towards preferred futures.

When we use rational, systematic thinking to envision the spectrum of possible futures, we can begin to identify probable and preferable future scenarios. We can use that insight to make decisions and take action today which will help us prepare for probable futures, and nudge towards preferable futures.

I collaborate, share and contribute by:

I’m open to discuss other forms of collaboration too!

A curious generalist by nature, I explore topics with critical thinking and intellectual humility to discover what, when, where, how and especially why. I’m driven by a quest for knowledge and truth which enable informed decisions, by supporting people to reach their goals, and to have a positive impact.

My professional path has covered research, academia, higher education leadership, advisory and authorship thus far, spanning several continents and sectors.

The experience, skills and knowledge I have gained combined with my values to create the unique and valuable perspective I bring to every project.
